What else would they do with the animal after they killed it?
I don’t know anyone who kills for food nowadays.
Live and let live is my motto.

I don’t know anybody who doesn’t, you do realize that all 50 states have laws in place that make it a crime to waste or leave in the field any game animal taken.

I dont know anyone who kills for food nowadays Move out to Missouri and you will find people with freezers full of venison, who eat quail and pheasant seasonally, whose Thanksgiving dinner is centered around a Tom that they got with a bow, and who enjoy a nice squirrel stew on a cold winter day.
Just because you don't know anyone who does it, doesn't mean that there aren't millions who do it.

I dont know anyone who kills for food nowadays. Unless you are a vegan, someone else is doing the killing for you.

i've got a daughter who is allergic to beef, but venison and elk are fine. so a big part of why i still hunt is to get her steak and burgers.

Either that, or you live in some large city near the coasts.
Hunting is a human right. I kill for food, and then thank God for the animal's life sustaining mine, as I cut its heart out.
Mmmmmm, tasty.

"I dont know anyone who kills for food nowadays." So -- you bite your steaks right off of the living cow? Or -- are you a "vegan"?
In either case, your world is too small -- and filled with citiwusses...

You do live a sheltered life.
One of the best holiday dishes I've ever eaten was Bean-n-Elk....our Supervisor went out to Montana every fall and hunted.
This was when I worked for Northwest Airlines in Minnesota and now in Florida, a lady that my wife works with fishes, with her husband, for sport, and give the fish to my wife for some very tasty consumption.
Your faith is weak.

If you eat meat in any form you kill for food
you just hire someone else to do the hard work.

So they grow KFC and Big Macs in the garden now huh?
How do you think fish sticks are made or chicken wings
or pepperoni?
Not to mention duck, venison roast, antelope steak, or pheasant
that is enjoyed in these red areas.
