Not a good argument ~ after all, we could have waited until we had the nukes on line and just left the Germans alone to continue a grinding war against the Russians ~ then totally destroyed Berlin with one bomb.

We could have avoided most of the casualties we took in the war with more patience.

.

BS!

The Germans were working on nukes already

And had advanced and much faster fighter jets that if they were built earlier and produced earlier would have cleared the US and Brits from the skies

German troops killed Brits at 3:1

German troops killed Americans by 2:1

America started WWII flying ancient bi-planes

Luckily Hitler was very dumb at priorities of producing fighters and bombers - and ordered too many competing prototypes

- Hitler also had to show up Napoleon by invading Russia (in summer uniforms!) that did not end well

I was at Jackson, Benning, Bragg

I have survived 2 plane crashes and 1 chopper crash

My brother was an engineer at the Cape for NASA

The US Space Program was built and developed using German WWII engineers and designs!

You have no idea what you are talking about

“Waiting” in wartime is defeat

When IKE asked who could get the Airborne saved PRONTO -

Patton did not say “Golly IKE! - Let*s just wait a little while more!”

I taught many city kids at Jax & Benning how to see and kill enemies on dark quiet nights

(I had semi-auto carbine and magazines of ammo ready in the trunk of my shiny red convertible while I was in HS)

And most of them survived

You watch too damned many silly Hollywood war movies!
