A few months ago I read about the installation of .50-cal Barrett rifles on UAVs for long-distance precision shots. I don’t know if it ever got implemented.

Come now, it’s not that hard to build. Large quadrarotor, solenoid, remote control electronics, M16 minus stock & grip, done. Nothing fake looking about the video (explosions obviously from planted tannerite) or concept.

Total fake. Just zoomed in on the firearm portion. FAKE AS HELL. It's a short Ar-15 upper. No receiver, no area for the bolt, no place for feeding ammo, no linkage to any ammo at all. The only mount is a rail-mount that puts the device on the bottom of the 'rotor.
Look for yourself.
