No it isn't. It is an opinion.
The fact is that if I vote for Virgil Goode, then I have voted for Virgil Goode. That is the indisputable fact.
from free online encyclopedia: A fact (derived from the Latin factum, see below) is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience.
If I cast a vote for Virgil Goode, you cannot verify that I have voted for Obama. Why? Because I would have voted for Virgil Goode.
You can talk about your opinion or about your belief as to what my vote for Goode means, but that would not make my vote for Goode a "fact".
I hope you're right. Unfortunately everything you just mentioned here describes the last GOP disappointment, GW Bush, right down to a tee. EVERYTHING that GW Bush believed in, passed legislation for, lobbied for, was to advance a socialist agenda, largely written & promoted by none other than the fat Irishman, Ted Kennedy. The only people that Bush truly despised & opposed were conservatives. GW Bush could not understand or postulate a common sense conservative agenda if his life depended on it, because he was clueless as to conservative values & principles. In short, whenever a common sense, conservative principle or legislation was needed, GW Bush in fact would do the exact opposite. He had the opportunity to have been one of America's greatest presidents if he had governed as a true-blue conservative. Instead he waffled & governed like a demoRAT and is now reviled as one of the worst presidents, just slightly better than Carter or 0dumbosh_t.
My fear is that Romney likewise does not understand or grasp conservative values & principles and instead will surround himself with likeminded liberal-moderate pragmatists, who in turn will promote the liberal-socialist agenda, just as GW Bush & 0dumb0 have done.
