Looks like Rahm went back to Chicago for a reason...to get his “team” locked and loaded to take out or scare out any potential threats to “the agenda”.
The democRATS are scared shyyyytless of Rubio.

I don’t know why. He’s another amnesty promoting Republican in the mold of Dubya. And all that does is guarantee an increase in Democrat voter rolls.
Rubio is ineligible to be President and VP.
Very basic, he will erode Obama’s Hispanic votes, which the Kenyan can not afford to lose in a close election. Rubio can speak fluent Spanish, which will help with the fastest growing segment of voters. He also solidifies Florida in the GOP column.

I have news for you- the millions of Mexican ancestry latinos aren’t impressed with Cubans.

We can argue till we are blue in the face. Wait and see the results. But Rubio will not get the nod anyway. It will be a governor.

I live with a zillion latinos.
The Mexican Americans can spot a mojado in a second. The mojados can tell a Mexican from a Guatemalan from an El Salvadoran. It’s accent, it’s look, it’s behavior. Americans can’t easily tell them apart so they think they’re all the same.
The idea that latinos are one big happy family and will all vote for each other is a story that only the idiots running the GOP believe, because those fools think that they can out-pander the Democrats. Well that’s one more reason why the GOP is known as the Stupid Party.
The latinos who have been pouring into the US courtesy of Open Borders fanatics like Dubya have been overwhelmingly poor, and they vote for the party offering them most free stuff.
Well there is one other point I wanted to bring up with you. You pointed out that Rubio can speak Spanish, as if that is an important thing.
Well this is an English speaking country. The majority of my colonial ancestors spoke English and I inherited their culture. The ones that didn’t spoke French, but they used English to conduct business and government. I have -zero- interest in diluting my culture by replacing it with that of Latin America.
I realize that a good portion of the GOP will betray this culture at the drop of a hat if it means winning one election. Which is why I hold half the GOP in a contempt equal to that with which I hold Democrats.
I have my own rule, which is the campaign-in-English rule. When I run across a politician campaigning in Spanish I write him off. If you don’t know what America’s language is you aren’t fit to govern. If you aren’t willing to maintain Engish as America’s language then you aren’t fit to govern.
Rubio has already made it clear that he puts his ethnic group first when he came out against AZ 1070. So since he wants to be a latino primo let him go run against Castro; it’s about time Cubans fought for their own country. Unlike American ancestors who fought the British for 8 years, Cubans simply cut and ran; unwilling to fight for their homeland. Not the sort I want running this country.

Their fear stems from what we all know and the one way to get the Dems and Socialists to admit it is to put Rubio there as a sacrificial lamb knowing someone from the Obama team will raise the issue, therefor disqualifying themselves. The Stupid Party doesn’t have the balls to call them out, so why not devise a plan to have them call themselves out?
Now that Obama is officially their nominee.
Calle Ocho may not be what it once was. In much the same mold of early 60’s Cubans, Venezuelans have brought their talent and wealth to South Florida. It follows that other Latins continue to do likewise throughout the US.
