Promising "a more conservative view representing Indiana," Richard Mourdock said Thursday the May 8 Republican U.S. Senate primary offers the GOP a chance to help change the nation's political discourse.
Indiana Republicans will choose between Mourdock, Indiana's state treasurer, and incumbent Sen. Richard Lugar that day, and Mourdock told Courier & Press editors the election could point a new way for the party. The path would not involve unnecessarily ceding territory to political opponents, he said.
"For all the cries for bipartisanship, it is bipartisanship that has taken us to the brink of bankruptcy," Mourdock said. "We don't need bipartisanship as much we need as the application of principle."
Mourdock said he would use his Senate seat to help calm America's present political polarization, but he would do it by working to defeat liberals. He noted President Abraham Lincoln's belief that the rancor tearing the country apart before the Civil War could be quelled only when one side prevailed.

Along with Indiana, other states needing RINO hunters include Nebraska, Texas, and Utah.
Yes, we can vote for Newt and knock Romney on his establishment Republican a$$. Hopefully Indiana and West Virginia both will help stop the Romney surge.
