I’ve still got my old bartender’s ear working: I can stand there pretending to listen to total BS all day and never miss a single item on the tab. Right down to the damn pretzels.
I’ve listened to a lot of amateur speech makers over the years, some very painful ones. I’ve learned to pick out the “gems” from the clutter. There is something good to glean from each one.
