I think "for Christ's sake" is considered to be taking Christ's name in vain, and is censored for that reason.

I read an essay which held that taking the Lord’s Name in vain really meant claiming to do things in His name or believe things in His name when one is actually without faith or those things are contrary to what God has told us.

I’m not advocating using any Holy Name as an expletive, which certainly shows no reverence or love. Just saying.
