Hubby and I were watching bits and pieces of ‘Along Came Polly’ and I had to rewind when I saw something that made my jaw drop. Or rather heard. One guy said, “For Christ sake” but ‘Christ’ was bleeped out.
Not long afterwards, someone said ‘bitc#’ but that word was left in.
What is the world is going on when profanity is acceptable but saying ‘Christ is considered so offensive that it needs to be censored.
And reading this article, it is just disgusting that JCP said, when threatened with a boycott for choosing Ellen Degenerate, that they shared the same values as Ellen. Exactly what values? Is it tolerance? Or is that just for gays- we have to tolerate their lifestyle but they can spit on Christian values?
I don't think "Christ" is considered so offensive that it needs to be censored; quite the opposite, I think "for Christ's sake" is considered to be taking Christ's name in vain, and is censored for that reason.
