Romney was asking RNC delegates in Arizona on Friday to sign pledges that they’ll vote for him on EVERY ballot at the convention. That’s not a sign of someone who is “inevitable” or has the nomination. That’s the sign of someone very scared that he will not hit 1,144 delegates and the nominee will be up for a vote at the convention. So if even Romney knows he’s not the inevitable nominee, why do his supporters not agree with him?

Oh, wow. I hadn't heard that. That's a really telling sign, isn't it? And apparently, a number of them refused.

NEXT ON THE AGENDA: Santorum supporters have had time to grieve, it's time to get them to switch to Newt. Will take a very balanced deft approach. Rick is on some sort of vanity trip and trying to hold onto them by telling them to "vote their conscience" (read vote for Santorum), instead of telling them to support the LCS. Newt is truly the last conservative standing and everyone needs to get behind him. No one twisted Santorum's arm to get out of the race. It was mostly about money and not being able to win PA.

Does anyone really think if he had been ahead by 10 points in PA he would have dropped out because of family concerns? Anyone?

Telling his supporters to vote their conscience is taking support from the last conservative in the race. He needs to be separated from this strategy... or atleast his supporters do..
