And the very first Earth Day was the 100th anniversary of Lenin’s birth, on April 22nd, 1970.

Is this a coincidence?

No coincidence. I was at the first Earth Day as a stringer for a conservative newspaper. The people on stage were mainly marxists and communists, with a few actually just leftist liberals, but not many.

Key red was singer Pete Seeger.

THe “green movement” was born that day but it was a “watermelon movement”, green on the outside, red on the inside.

Legitimate people concerned with the environment got shoved aside by the marxists and it has been that way for decades, re Jeremy Rifkin and Van Jones, to name just a few frauds and commies.

PS: I did get a story and a 5’8” Swedish blond at Earth Day. It wasn’t a total loss. Ann had a smile that would melt one of Al Gore’ icebergs.
