What is ticking me off is that the change should start around 8 tonight. Weather channel has some stupid lufeguard program on. WPXI is running sports even though it’s supposed to be news.

Internet is not updating.

My weather station is showing low but steady pressure at 6:30pm. I’m thinking the east coast low has moved north. Maybe enough to keep snowfall to...where yunz are to the east. I might not be in bad shape when I start walking at 6am. Later in the day?????

Considering all that has happened to my family in the past few days I’m happy.

Thank You Lord!

Mr S just heard that Pittsburgh now has an advisory while points east (Armstrong, Indiana, Fayette, etc) all have a warning. Glad to have the 4-wheel drive!

I’m thinking the east coast low has moved north

The surface low passed Virginia Beach shortly after 6PM (pressure started rising). It is still moving north about 30 mph (just guessing from the 500 mb map), but should slow down quite a bit as it turns to the NW. I think some of the projected snowfall is from upslope (the usual spots that get lake effect with NW winds) and some is from the trowal which should set up from western NY down into NW PA. My thinking is that the trowal will have the most cold and snow. Upslope is still likely but I'm not sure there will be as much of that.
