You’re not going to get me to defend Romney, but it is you who didn’t say anything.
Imagine that we’re talking about Tom Thomas. Though American, his family lives in outside the US for most of its history - territories and then say Canada. Looking at his great-grandfather (lived and died outside of the US), grandfather, father, Tom Thomas, and sons none of them served.
So that’s the narrative, but it proves nothing other than that Tom Thomas’ four generations didn’t enter the US military. You have to tie that to some other statistic to make it make sense. If the population stats are 50-905+ of four generation Americans at least one male member served in the military you might have something.
I mean Al Gore and John Kerry served in the US Armed Forces. What did that prove? Bad thinking doesn’t make a good argument. That’s my point. Don’t shoot the messenger and don’t hold a grudge against me because that FReeper spanked you with a solid retort. Instead improve your argument and have it make sense in context. Otherwise it is just nonsense and nonsense is the realm of liberals, not us.
I’m not going to pretend that you aren’t defending Romney, that is your own personal pretend game.
