Again, if Obama’s taking us over the cliff at 100 mph, and Romney is going to take us over at 85 mph, as we’ve been preached to here, isn’t that important enough not to say he won’t support going over the cliff just at a little slower rate?

Or are people here just blowing smoke when the rubber hits the road. either this is the most critical election and we can’t keep going in the same direction, full speed or 85% of full speed, or that’s all just bullsh1t and we’re just playing politics again and we’re going to have another McCain event.

I agree withh you on about everything you say especially about Romney, I’m saying for Newt to state that he wouldn’t support the Republican nominee would turn into a bigger attack on him by the gop-e and the media and he would again be detracted from his message and put on defense. I’m not bound by previous committments but when or if Newt would renege on what is a normal agreement among Republican candidates would be up to Newt and I do believe at this time it would be a distraction. My primary goal is for Newt to get the nomination, my secondary goal would be deprive Romney of the nomination by any means. The agreement to support the eventual nominee among the candidates is not recent. If Romney gets the nomination he may get as much support from the other candidates as he gave McCain / Palin.
