I have heard Juan Williams say more than once that Zimmerman outweighed Trayvon by a hundred pounds.
The interviewer both times rushed on to the next question and didn’t bother to correct. And yes, the interviewer knew better.
And no, I know it sounds too preposterous to be true, but I’m not exaggerating, he did say by a hundred pounds.
Also, Rick Santorum owes a bigtime apology to Zimmerman but I won’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
“Also, Rick Santorum owes a bigtime apology to Zimmerman but I wont hold my breath waiting for that to happen.”
Also, Shep Smith owes him a huge apology. Shepard Smith on the air called Trayvon a “baby boy” and said he was just gunned down.
He's one of the reasons I don't watch FOX anymore. It's one thing to hire scum but it's another to keep them on the air.
He really does. He commented before getting the facts.
Juan Williams is not a journalist. He never checks his facts. I don’t know why FOX has him on their payroll. The man is a moron.
It now appears that Trayvon was bigger than Zimmerman but even if it were true that Zimmerman outweighed Martin by one hundred pounds that in itself means nothing. If the hundred pound “advantage” is only fat then it is a DISadvantage plus there are other possibilities, those who simply assume that the bigger person automatically has the advantage are playing the fool. I speak from the viewpoint of a male who is six feet and four inches tall and weighed 252 pounds on my bathroom scale as of two hours ago. I am NOT fat, I am muscular and very strong for a man who is about to turn 68. Do I want to take on a furious 17 year old football player who is six foot two, of any weight and physically fit? Not on your life.
