How did that Jewel guy in Atlanta (Olympics, I think) do when he was found not to be the perp? After being verbally (by people & press) assaulted and pummeled that he was the perp in an explosion.
Maybe GZ should make a quiet/undetected trip and stay with Mr. Jewel for a while. He filed lawsuits - did any of them pan out?

NBC settled out of court with Mr. Jewel for major big bucks.
In regard to Zimmerman going to stay with Jewel...he passed away in 2007.

Jewel is dead. He did settle with some of the news organizations.

Jewell v NY Post...settled for undisclosed amount
Jewell v NBC....settled for $500,000
Jewell v Cox Enterprises dba Atlanta Journal-Constitution) dragged on for years and was dismissed AFTER Jewell's death.
