The law-enforcement source familiar with the case, who told The Daily Beast that he personally believes Zimmermans account, said Zimmerman has told three different law enforcement agencies his version of the events.
-snip-
Zimmerman told police officials that he lost sight of Martin and went around a townhouse to see where he was. Then he claimed Martin confronted him and punched him, knocking him down.
According to The Daily Beasts source, Zimmerman told police that when he was on the ground, Martin straddled him, striking him, and then tried to smother him.

Zimmerman, the source said, told officers he was so paralyzed by fear that he initially forgot he had a gun, but he said that after Martin noticed his 9mm pistol, Zimmerman pulled it out of his belt holder and fired one round, a hollow-pointthe round that killed Martin.

The source familiar with the case said that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators had Zimmerman lie on his back in another location in an effort to recreate the position he said he had been in during the shooting. Then, the source said, investigators recorded Zimmerman as he shouted what had been heard on the 911 calls: cries such as, Help me!
Crump said it was not clear that Martin threw the first punch but, argued that even if he did, Zimmermans actions launched the entire sequence of events. Trayvon Martin had every right to stand his ground, Crump said. We believe that Trayvon went to his grave not knowing who this strange man was that was approaching and confronting him.

That is a pic of Trayvon Martin and it was thoroughly vetted here on FR about three weeks ago.
Just a heads up...
Things are not always what they seem
and supporters are not always what they claim to be.

You simply picked the google image showing him with long hair after his booking. Yeah, I know to some people “they all look alike”, but it’s a different individual. Wider nose, different shaped face, different eyes, thicker lips, and shorter ears. Believe what you want to believe.
End of.
zzzzZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzz
There is just NO_Limit_...
Hey, I followed the blogpimped link.
There are two pictures vertically stacked.
“Obama said that Trayvon Martin (above right) could be his son. Well, Tyrone Woodfork (above left) could be his son too.”
Is that your evidence? WTF?
How nice of you to try and throw that Race Card at me but apparently it's you that "they" all look alike to. The gold teeth pic looks like Trayvon and not at all like Woodfork. You won't find the gold teeth pic associated with Woodfork in any search. You will find confirmation that the gold teeth pic was found on a Twitter account belonging to THE Trayvon Martin who was shot by George Zimmerman.
April 19, 2012 The Daily Caller obtains Trayvon Martins tweetsThe Daily Caller has obtained a compilation of the late Trayvon Martins tweets.
The social media scan, executed on PeopleBrowsr and supplied to TheDC by the individual who performed the search, contains tweets from the last month of Martins life, dating to the beginning of 2012.
Martin tweeted under the handle NO_LIMIT_NIGGA, an account that was closed shortly after his death.
The image attached to the Twitter account when Martin died matches one that has been widely distributed. That photograph of Martin depicts him smiling, gold-toothed, into a camera in front of an electronic dartboard.
Now take your Race Card and your neutron star stupidity somewhere else.
Fine, I concede.
It’s hilarious! Their facial features are totally different. Jawbones, eyebrows, chins, noses, eyes ... nothing alike. Not to mention that the text on that blog is clearly drawing a comparison between two different people.
My comment wasn’t aimed at you. It was aimed at the few remaining FReepers still spouting their “Zimmerman left his truck therefore he is ultimately responsible” nonsense.
Factual innacuracies hurt rather than help to make a point.
BS. It's clearly not Woodfork.
That was the exact phrase my father used when discussing rights.
It’s one thing to argue factually about a thing you can prove to be wrong.
OTOH, intentionally spreading disinformation is an entirely different matter.
You are wrong.
Stop.
I already admitted my mistake.
You can't get off that easy. Go back and read all that you accused of fellow Freepers.
You need to beg and offer small gifts...at the very least.
Saying “Fine, I concede,” is admitting your “mistake”?
ROTFLMAO!
OK. Have it your way.
But please know that since I am a Florida resident, and have been/will be closely following this case, I don’t expect to see you attempt to repeat your “mistake” on any other related threads on this topic in the future.
Have a nice day.
My post stands.
