It was not the cops fault he was at the wrong house. The dispatcher made that mistake. You can hear on the original 911 recording the lady reporting the domestic violence give 26xx, but the dispatcher sent the cops to 36xx.
He drew on an innocent person as well. Others said the police car’s equipment caught the LEO lying about the events.
Drawing on the wrong person is unlawful use of a weapon, LEO or not. That lands you in jail. The guy would have been within his rights to fire back in self defense. Mistake or deliberate.
