On the bandstand

And well be clingin
And floatin high as a cloud
The phones are ringin
My mom and dad are so proud
Im on bandstand
And I’ll jump, and hey,

The eternal teen-ager. RIP, Dick.
RIP Dick Clark..a beautiful man with a beautiful soul. He will be missed for sure
One of the few good celebrities these days. He is already being missed.
Many of us remember Dick Clark from the days when he hosted American Bandstand. Many of the groups he introduced went on to fame. And, a whole cult grew up around the regulars who attended and danced on his program each week.
RIP!
So many memories.... thank you Dick.

If only we could turn back the clock to a better time in America.
New Year won’t be the same without him.
