Romney backs Obama on abortion, the stimulus, TARP, war time tables, gun control laws, amnesty for illegals, government mandated healthcare.

I want to see both plotted on a 2D chart, with the abscissa as the candidate's record on their desired amount of government control (0-100%, anarchist to totalitarian) and the ordinate the candidate's record on their desired amount of public employment (0-100%, total private enterprise to utter fascism).
Betcha Romney and Obama are in the same quadrant.
Where we lost the whole game is the destruction of the only real Constitutional conservative with the gonads to make a complete reversal - Newt Gingrich.
if you stay home, you’re “voting for Obama.” If you insist on voting Conservative, supposedly you’re “voting for Obama”. If you’re voting for Mitt, you’re voting for a white Obama, so why not skip the nonsense and just vote Obama...at least then there’s a shot at revolution.
Almost forgot.../sarc
I can’t in good conscience vote for either.
Obama might be better than Romney in that he carries the ‘rat brand on his liberal policies, but I can’t vote for him.
I’ll probably vote Constitution party. Heck, I’d even vote for that Libertarian kook over these two.
I have to agree with you. This is getting nutty. I ‘m starting to think there are shills making comments. If Obama gets back in, he will surely get a opportunity at another Supreme Court Justice, more executive orders, more czars...
WTF .... wake up!!!
FR Rule #2
Always use the /sarc tag, no matter how obvious you think your sarcasm is.
I broke FR Rule #2.....sorry.....
I really, really wish that I could believe that, but I cannot, though I definitely agree regarding squishiness of other philosophies and gridlock.
“If you believe he is a far right conservative,,,
Uh...it doesn’t show him as a “far right” conservative.”
Uh, I didn’t say it showed him as an EXTREME far right conservative, but it shows him squarely in the conservative right corner of the chart... which his actions deny.
For this reason, I suspect that your mind is made up - and nothing will penetrate the pro-Romney wishful thinking you are demonstrating.
And so it is for you - and oftentimes me - that my tagline exists... :-)
blessing to you and yours,

Well stated.
I think where you and I differ is merely on whether Mitt is evil. I think we might agree that BO is evil - so that’s a no-brainer.
So now we’re just down to Mitt - is he evil?
As of yet I’m unconvinced...
Romney, hard working self made man? He got his money the same way the Kennedys got theirs, but is less honest about it. He claims he did not inherit is which may be true because they gave it to him while they were alive. Read his bio. his first job was at the age of 31. He lived off of a trust fund his parents had set up just as his sons are doing. His claim that his sons are serving this country by campaigning for h1m shows his disrespect for the military.
well, bye.
Like hell we will!! No bama!! No Romney!!
“So now were just down to Mitt - is he evil?”
The real question to me is, has this man supported and acted on evil as an elected official?
Against the evil Obama participates in, there is the evil Willard participated in.
Abortion
Gay marriage, rights, adoption
Reduction of liberty through expanded government
Reduction of Constitutional rights
Promotion of a cult
Homo-favoring, and abortion lovin’ judges he appointed
I leave you to answer those for yourself.
Once Willard decided to become POTUS, he hired a consultant to teach him how to “talk conservative” and changed out his positions for conservative ones in his speech. Conservatives hate Obama so much, they are willing to believe what he says and sweep aside everything opposite that he did. Bizarre.
I do not believe he is a conservative. I do not believe he is close to a conservative.
So for me, and again, I am only speaking for me, I believe ball-less republicans, which are almost all that exists in the Senate and most of the House, would go along with Willard’s bad values and choices. They will feel obligated and frankly, they lean that way anyway.
The question is, would they oppose the same choicess if Obama proposed them? I think at least in a tepid way.
Frankly, I do not believe the national Republican party has changed a whit. They felt the heat from the Tea Party, but just gave lip service to it. For them to be swept into power again will convince them that it is back to business as usual - and Willard would be swiftly followed by a Hillary landslide with coattails.
Until a conservative leader comes along that inspires the country, conservatives will only be elected in opposition to trauma by liberals. The greater the trauma, the greater the response on the other side.
Each of us has a tough decision to make and the conservative party will be split.
If the current Occupant can manipulate things to make the economy appear to be improving - or hand out more benefits until it does, I don’t think Willard can win.
Time will tell. In either case, win or lose in the short-term, I believe Willard carries with him a greater loss in the long-term - and he’ll do it without me. Admittedly, I may be wrong. I can live with either outcome.
Good luck.
For the record, I wouldn’t pee oh him if he was on fire.
However, if he is Obama’s opponent in November, he will definitely get my vote.
The only two ways he won’t get my vote is if I’m dead or there is no election.
Newt did not make the cut, don’t know what else to say on that.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe me, and I am neither dishonest nor am I treacherous.
I appreciate your insults to me, but the fact of the matter is that I don’t have any choice.
It is the GOP that is dishonest and treacherous.
I already voted for Newt. If he has any intent of being the nominee via winning this race for the nomination, then he had better get his a$$ in gear and win the race, because slow turtle ain’t doing a damn thing besides losing to an astonishingly weak candidate in Romney.
If Newt wants my second vote in this matter, then he is going to have to win the nomination, and that much should be obvious.
It ain’t really any more complicated than that, GOP candidate versus Obama gets my vote regardless of anything. This election is about defeating Obama.
I went “all in” for Rick so I can’t donate but I’ll be giving Newt my vote on Tuesday (and I damn sure won’t be picking either of the former Rats for Senate).
Even if you help just get the word out that this race isn’t over it would help. I can’t stomach the idea that RoBama wins this no matter what.
