Are all Corgis like that? Maybe I’ll get one.
My MIL has two and they both aren’t very bright. One nips and the other is scared of everything.
If I was going to get a lap dog it would be a Papillon, they are the only small breed in the Top Ten Smartest.
My local FFL/Armorer has one and it’s one of the friendliest, sweetest, most compliant dogs I’ve ever run into. He’s got his own company baseball cap and sunglasses and greets everyone coming into the facility. What a pooch!
... more 'cops on the beat' - false analogy...
My experience with dogs has led me to the belief that they tend to reflect traits of the people they’re around.
Good folks, good dogs. Bad actors, not so nice puppies or they bug out.
(Kinda makes me wonder about The 0’s pets........)
I had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for his full life for thirteen years and loved his intelligence and temperament.
They shed and have short legs so keep that in mind. They like to herd small kids but mine did it without nips. They shed a lot. They shed all year but they are sharp and very attentive.
Did I mention they shed?
