I don’t understand why they are holding him. He’s not a threat to anyone else.

I think there should be a different place to hold "the accused". They shouldn't be held with the convicts. I also don't understand why he is not allowed to watch television and is held pretty much in solitary. He is not guilty of a crime at this point, so he shouldn't be treated as such.

I tend to think he is confined to solitary, for his own protection. That, however, would not stop inmates from rattling their cages and screaming insane things to intimidate him 24 hours a day.

I think he is in jail..not prison. Of course there are “post trial” convicted people waiting to be moved to prison...but most are more than likely “pre-trial” not guilty until convicted folks.

As sad as it is..he is safer in solitary than he would be with the general population.

The article says there is a bail hearing set that might allow him to bond out.

But what then? He is in serious danger, no matter where he is.
