Ft.Worth is my home town...When I got out of the Navy,301st TFW was one of my jobs at Carswell AFB. Aviation Ordnance Tech....then Munitions and Aircraft maintenance controller. F-105s then F-4s was what we had at the time. Lots of memories there some good and bad. Lost a pilot and rio in lake worth on final approach.

Yep...they do a lot of test flying there. I remeber when Vought lost 4 personnel when testing the XC-142 VTOL Cargo plane at the NAS over in Grand Prairie back in the 60s. Hard on my Dad, a couple of them were close friends of his.

I was raised out west of Sanger, about 6 miles off the freeway and nine miles north of Krum, TX. All of that Northwest of Denton.

For several years when my wife and I lived out there when our kids were young, I would communte in on an FM highway down to Ft. Worth when I was working at Motorola Mobile products.

Been here in Idaho for the last 14 years and love it. Sunk a tap root.
