Mitt Romney leads President Obama in the first Gallup national daily tracking poll.
Romney took 47 percent support from surveyed registered voters, while Obama took 45 in a poll conducted between April 11 and April 15. Romney's edge though is within the poll's three point margin of error.
Independents tipped the scale in favor of Romney, going for the former Massachusetts governor 45 percent to 39.

I know, really bad. I’m so pissed. I want to see the Kenyan up by 10-20 points from now until the election. Maybe I should donate to his campaign fund./SARCASM
FR is whacky the past few weeks....
Ditto

Better that then another RINO who will do worse things than Obama, right?

(Fox News) - PHOENIX — Mitt Romney will address the Republican National Committee meeting of state party chairmen this Friday in Phoenix, where he will stake his claim to the GOP nomination and call upon party leaders to unite, FOX News Channel reported.
The meeting will be attended by more than 40 of the RNC’s 50 state GOP chairmen, along with 200 additional officials, activists and political professionals as they gear up for the fall campaign to oust President Barack Obama.
Although Romney had a major fundraiser planned for Friday in Phoenix for some time, his appearance at the RNC meeting was only finalized Monday, FOX reported.
At the meeting, Romney, who has yet to officially wrap up the nomination, is expected to explicitly assume the role of titular head of the GOP as its 2012 presidential nominee.
The former Massachusetts governor will give his marching orders to the state GOP chairmen and spur them to the shared cause of retaking the White House.

Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet. It is my opinion that NOBODY running is WORSE than o bama. Some are a lot better, some just a little bit better.
Yes, it does make sense and there’s always a slight chance mittens doesn’t end up with the nomination.
Only in ultra-BLUE states is such a protest advisable. This country won’t exist after another 4 years of Obama.
I think o bama loves himself way more than mittens does. Both he and Moochelle think they are really something special.
He will never bow out... NEVER.... but I think if it looks like he will lose, he will dump Biden and choose Hillary as VP if she will do it.
“Dont believe everything you hear on the internet. It is my opinion that NOBODY running is WORSE than o bama. Some are a lot better, some just a little bit better.”
Then you’re in direct conflict with those that run this site.
I believe Obama will be divorced and broke within 5 years of losing in 2012.

Divorced, yes, broke, no. He’s got a huge stash somewhere.
Only improvement over Obama would possibly be Romneys US Supreme Court justice appointments.
Hang me from the yardarm, but after all weve seen in recent years where the Republic has hung from a thread by a 5-4 decision, thats enough motivation for me

Romney will pick judges way more liberal than o bama would. I know this because people here say so./s
If Soeotro wins again, I expect him to pick Van Jones, Rev. Wright, Farakhan types next time. No need to play even halfway nice when he isn’t in campaign mode.
I wonder if she wears her Hopey and Changey T-shirt every day?
Careful how you speak around these parts. Romney is the Antichrist while Obama is just a marxist.

It’s probably a good idea to just lurk until for a few months. The US is divided, FR is divided. They brutally bashed all of the conservative candidates, Sarah, Cain, Perry, Newt, Michelle, now we will probably be left with Romney and we are expected to sit it out and help the Kenyan win. I don’t think I can do that.
bye bye what? Are you calling for banning people from this forum because they want vote for Romney over Obama? If that is the case then 90% of the members would be banned...good luck...

Better to lurk if Mittens ends up being the nominee. Then see if FR becomes a pro-obama forum in which case it loses a lot of members but gains quite a few from DU, Kos, etc.
I haven’t seen anyone (that hasn’t already been zotted) campaigning for mittens on FR. Saying you will vote for him, to oust o bama, IF he does end up being the nominee is NOT the same thing as supporting him over other conservative or republican candidates. What is it about that you don’t get?
My primary is OVER. I voted for Newt. Romney won my state. It sucks but there are a lot of snowbird republicans that aren’t particularly conservative on social issues. It is what it is.

You posted JR’s words and I’m sure we have all read them and respect his choice to not vote if he chooses not to but he has stated he also respects others to make their own choices at the polls, but FR will not be a “supporting mittens forum”. JR has never told other Freepers not to vote against o bama. If he has, show me the post.
