Eeek! Sorry I am so behind here : o Drove 5 hours there, and then 5 hours back for our state GOP thingy, and am rather unsuccessfully trying to get back into the groove, sheepish look.

The GREAT news is that Travis has been working VERY hard and has made truly inspiring progress!!

Thank You Heavenly Father, for amazing young men such as this.

You’ve got to see Travis’s very first video update! Video was taken by Kelsey and shared in the Facebook support group earlier today. Simply amazing, Travis! Keep it up!

UPDATE FROM KELSEY MILLS (5/20 @ 6:30PM CDT)

This weekend has been very adventurous! We went into downtown Bethesda yesterday on the Metro for lunch. That was stressful! Then last night the doctor let Travis come stay the night at the Fisher House with us. Went to Target today and now chinese take-out for dinner. Travis is staying over again tonight!

Travis is doing very well. The past three nights we have all had dinner together at the Fisher House (where we are staying) next to the hospital! His friends TJ and Aaron got in today, and he has had a nice visit. Mom and Matt will be here tomorrow and then Aunt Lisa and Tory are leaving Sunday. The support we are receiving is very overwhelming, and the majority of Travis’s time is focused on therapy and getting well. We are prioritizing the valuable visiting time for family and close friends. Thank you so much again for continued support and prayers.

Team Mills members in Michigan want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that came out last night for the fundraising event at Buffalo Wild Wings! The fundraiser was a tremendous success, and there are still more events to come. Be sure to check out the fundraisers page so you don’t miss out.

Travis was a beast today in physical therapy! We went down to check out the bigger gym, and we went to the barber shop!
