Some of us forget victory at the Presidential level isn`t the objective. The point of nominating Romney is to make inroads into the squishy middle enough to hold onto the House and maybe make gains in the Senate.
As such, Romney is going to select an equally “moderate” and uninspiring running mate. FL`s George LeMieux and MN`s Tim Pawlenty come to mind.
Romney will pick a fellow squishy RINO for his VP. He has already thrown cultural conservatives and the health care issue under the bus
