Ahead of her Fox News special Paying at the Pump, Sarah Palin gave an interview to Breitbart.com. Discussing various aspects of energy policies, Palins final question was about the networks boss Roger Ailes and her response wasnt exactly glowing.
The question was: Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future.
Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, Sarah Palin had no chance to be President. What do you make of that?
Interesting, Palin said, before continuing on to say:
I havent heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they cant do something will work that much harder, and they succeed.
Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannons The Undefeated. The theme of Steves film isnt about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate ones path in life and never giving up when youre fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our childrens futures. So, would you send a copy of The Undefeated to him?
Youll recall that last year Ailes made some headlines following a New York magazine profile. The piece quoted a Republican source close to Ailes as saying:
Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks shes stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin havent elevated the conservative movement.
UPDATE: Mediaite reached out to Roger Ailes and he further clarified his remarks from last nights UNC event in context::
He said, When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President I wasnt referring to any of their long-term prospects, including Governor Palin. I hired all of them because they made for good television at the time. Sarah Palin is young and nobody can predict the future.

So goes Faux News ...
If it wasn’t for Palin, McCain would have lost by a greater margin.
All the conservatives attacked have been for ... Bishop Romney.
Fox News chief Roger Ailes ----> Chris Wallace RomneyBOT

Conclusion: SMELLS LIKE MITT AGAIN

Poor sport spoiler Romney doing what he does best:

If it wasn't for McCain, Sarah probably would have won.
Her two major resignations made her absolutely unelectable and she knows it. She's not dumb.
He's wrong if he did say she's stupid. Palin is not stupid and she has helped the conservative movement and the Republican party tremendously. I do hope she continues the good fight but she will never be president.
I, for one, would not have voted for McCann except for Palin.
The only reason I held my nose and voted for McLame is so Sarah could establish herself for a run at the White House...
I had expected to be working for her campaign this time around, but instead we have...Well...What we have...
I know she resigned the governorship of Alaska due to dozens of frivilous lawsuits and ethics complaints which were taking up all her and her staff's time and effort, not to mention money. But you mentioned two resignations. Please enlighten all of us as to what you're talking about.
Roger Ailes is a jerk..Fox News since day 1 has been the “Kiss Romney’s ass” network..the only “stupid one” is Roger Ailes..Sarah Palin is the best damn thing that has happened to the Conservative movement. Ailes is just pissed that Conservatives dont kiss Romney’s rump like the rest of the elitists have
Her resignation as Gov. was so that the Obots couldn’t bleed Alaska dry. If you remember, they were suing her and the state for a lot of little things, like the fact she did an interview with Greta on Fox while wearing a jacket with an emblem showing. If she didn’t resign, the lawsuits would have bankrupted her and the state.
Whatever she does or says, people listen. As Gov her hands would be tied, so I’m glad she can say whats in her heart.
Romney must step down now.
Two?? Please explain.
The Elite Machines .. how many are we fighting?
Media
DC Beltway
Lobbyists/Pundits
Unions/ACORN,etc.
Race Baiters
Academia
Atheists
Global Warming Tree Huggers
Boneheads/Radicals
And Fox .. “fair and balanced” .. who’s hired former Acornite/BHO stooge, the cleaned up and made presentable, Jehmu Greene, and now Sanita Jackson (Jesse’s daughter) .. has deserted their so-called conservative flock .. all about $$$!
They’ll probably hire Fluke and Hillary Rosen next.
Beyond appalling and disgusting.
And it still makes the lefties boiling mad.
S/he is referencing her resignation from the Oil/Energy board, the crook, then Governor Murkowski appointed her to, in which she exposed all the corruption that led to the ouster of both democrats and Republicans, and ultimately to his demise when she defeated him and went onto win the Governorship of Alaska against the democrat!
LOL.
You forgot to say, “in your opinion.”
She’s the ONLY reason I voted for McLame.
FLASHBACK:
The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided
to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.
Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

Damn. Does smell like him, doesn’t it. And here I was actually starting to have less than normal feelings of distaste for the man.
This is exactly WHY we must insist, somehow, that if Romney gets the nomination, he takes Sarah as his running mate. It’s totally certain that is the only way I would ever even consider voting for him. I’d want him watched like a hawk, and Sarah would do it.
She’s not the type to be stuck in an office and forgotten either. The first time he strayed off the Conservative reservation she would be in his office and in his face and ain’t no Secret Service agent with stones big enough to get in her way, either.
Now that’s an image that certainly makes me smile.
