You insulted Dick Cheney. Period. You accused him of getting off his death bed and giving a speech because he is afraid of a tax audit. That is insulting as well as stupid. You should just apologize to Cheney, then you can move on to disagree with him. But insulting him here is just offensive.
And of course this was caused by your anti Romney fanaticism. You just can’t imagine that Cheney would support the likely nominee, so you made up a fantasy about Cheney giving a speech to appease Obama to avoid a tax audit.
What tax audit? Do you realize you made that up out of nothing? Do you realize Cheney’s speech was attacking Obama, therefore he obviously wasn’t afraid of a tax audit by Obama?
Absolutely I “made it up.” Never said it wasn’t speculation. And you’re free to disagree. It wasn’t intended as an insult because there’s nothing wrong with seeking to protect yourself or your own family in my eyes.
I will also speculate that he does not want to hurt the chances for his politically active daughter Liz Cheney to rise in the Republican party. Just like he doesn’t support the federal marriage amendment because his other daughter is a homosexual. He is a good father and has shown he will side with his children when there is a conflict between them and conservative doctrine.
