You are correct. I'll bet Karl Rove even follows you. He follows two of my Twitter accounts. It's not because he's a fan of me. He must be on auto-follow. He follows almost as many as follow him. I've heard in the past that Obama is known to follow all that follows him.
A bit like the chicken and the egg. Most likely they followed Obama before Obama followed them. It's the nature of Twitter.
I do have an account where I ONLY follow spambots. I think Rove is technically a spambot so he’s likely on there and probably following me.
(I jest. I’m fairly certain Rove is an actual human being and not a talking points bot. I think. I’ve definitely seen him eat food.)
