This is an intriguing possibility. Romney needs a running mate with some kind of star power and something different to offer.

Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory, not a state. The U.S. citizens born in Puerto Rico are not natural born citizens. Fortuno is not eligible to be VP, much less President.

What the Hell is wrong with this party? We’re morphing into criminal Democrats!

Folks. Let's get a grip. Does anyone think a milquetoast like Milt is going to do something exciting for a VP pick? He is going to pick a person that is even less dynamic than he is so he doesn't get outshined.

While some birthers are still falsely claiming Justice Thomas has been “evading” the question of Obama’s eligibility, the fact is, this is the real presidential eligibility the Justices have been joking about evading. A presidential candidate born in Puerto Rico.

Congressman Serrano(NY) was the chairman of the committee that funds the Supreme Court who was asking the Justices during their appearances, every year for over ten years, whether he would be eligible for the presidency because of his Puerto Rican birth. They would kid around, but never give him a straight answer. But they did say he could be a Supreme Court Justice.

After reading his book, “Keeping the Republic”, I really like Mitch Daniels, Gov. Indiana. He’s done wonders for Ind.

"And, of course, he has strong Hispanic appeal."

Nonsense. Let's everybody stop and take a deep breath here. He's Puerto Rican. Sectionalism is alive and well throughout Latin America. Mexicans dislike the Guatemalans. The Bolivianos clash with the Peruvians, and most of South America hates the Argentinians, but they all look down their noses at the Puerto Ricans. Don't expect Fortuno to swing the Hispanic vote to the Republican party. Lumping all Hispanics into one big happy family is simply naive.

I have heard him spak and he is awesome. Young, dynamic and handsome. And Conservative. That being said... No way on this Earth will he be chosen.

This is the RINO strategy to lock up the Hispanic vote for the GOPee. Rubio won't take VP, so select Luis Fortuno — whoever this guy is. The GOPee learned that people voted for Sarah Palin and not Juan McLame. So, this time, they want someone who will not outshine their precious sock puppet, Mittens.
