actually, it is we the people who can take the government down...

We are born as sovereign citizens and we have NOT protected those rights.

If you want to know why the government steps all over our rights, watch this video.

Indeed, it is We the People but We the People must act through some entity...we cannot “rebind” the national government with the “chains of the Constitution” (Jefferson, Kentucky Resolution) on our own. It must be through some entity that acts on behalf of We the People...in this case, the States. It is our only hope and you are right, We the People have NOT protected our rights. No, we’ve BLINDLY trusted elected officials at the national government to do so and when they didn’t (Medicare Part D, republican House, Senate and President), we looked the other way and made excuses for their anti-constitutional actions. Much like an abused spouse which I contend most conservatives are; and the RNC knows they’ll keep coming back. Trust me, I used to work there and most conservatives have no idea how much they’re played by PR firms, focus groups to get in line. We’re seeing it now with Romney. In a few weeks, once Gingrich disappears, the conservatives will check their so-called devotion to the Constitution (hardly) at the door and pony right up to ole’ Mitt.

We need to take our eyes off the national government and focus our energy and attention on motivating our States to engage this fight. If we don’t...well then I guess “we’re all serfs now!”
