We don’t need this if we respect the 10th amendment. It should actually be easier to convince the more strident on each side to apprecieate the amendment.
Spot on, and we’re working feverishly with a number of State legislators to do just this...assert their police powers via the 10th. Madison makes this exquisitely clear in Federalist 45. But the State legislators will NEVER assert their reserved authority if We the People don’t demand it of them.
