No he isn't. His track record says he appoints liberal judges.
You are giving the supreme court to the libs, because if the dems control the senate or if the repubs control the senate, he'll nominate unknowns with lib tendencies, and you'll swing the court back to the libs. The dems will gladly vote for them, and the rinos will gladly join with the dems to confirm them so that they "support their president."
Obama as president would at least require the rinos to pretend to be opposition.
But, there is a 3rd way. Elect a conservative from another party.
Of course there is a third way...but how likely is a serious third party candidate at this point? Not very, I would say.
Not speaking to you specifically, but man-oh-man there is a huge lack of understanding here about the difference between strategy and tactics, folks! We can all agree that strategically we are going to abide by our closely held principles, but tactically we have to WIN elections in order to have any influence. Some here want to wave the bloody shirt while they get run over by Obama’s tanks. I want to stop his effing tanks. Defeat the bastard. Throw him out on the street! Romney is not my choice, but we lost.
Obama and Romney are NOT the same.
In Taxachusetts, that would be a liberal.
Unfortunately, I don't know how he'd do with a more conservative Congress at a national level.
So, my mind is not yet made up, one way or the other.
Currently, the arguments for and against are really weak.
