I have no doubt you have thoroughly done your homework and no know every bad, foul, evil and liberal deed that Romney has committed over the last millennium. If anything Freepers do their homework.

I can't speak for you or how you will act in the upcoming election but for myself when dealing with a man like Romney I realize he will have to be Charlie Cristed.

He was a governor of Fla. We did light a huge fire under his ass. We did get rid of him./Now we have a gentleman named Marco Rubio.

In this election cycle I thoroughly supported Palin, then Newt and now as you so appropriately noted side with Rush and proclaim anyone but ozero.

Am I happy about the situation? Hell no.I wanted a conservative. Now the question is am I a sore loserman? Will that help or hinder a long term conservative cause? For me I fight for the long haul.

Muslims get it. They fight 50/100, 500 year wars and never give up even when we kick their ass over and over.

If we start giving up, start claiming our guy didn't get in so we won't vote. We can feel good about our selves but to me that's always been a liberal tendency to go with ones "feelings".

My biggest concern after the next election is who gets in and what potential we have to influence the new potus. IMHO, we will not influence ozero at all.

I think differently about Romney.I think we have the potential to influence what he does.

Will it be 100% of the time, 70% of the time? I just don't know. But I do surmise that we have a better chance at doing what we do best here on FR of leading the horse to water with Romney than with ozero. Just my opinion.

Bottom line for me is you do what you feel you have to. But there is no way any one of us can say, based on his record, that Romney is better than Obama. A direct comparison of the two backs that up.

You must abandon your conservative beliefs to vote Romney and if you do, then so be it.

Why are you talking like you lost? Why would you take your support away from Newt when 20 states and 45% of the delegates haven’t voted yet? And when Mitt only has about 650 of the 1,144 delegates he needs? What’s going now is just a repeat of the same thing the GOP-e has been trying to say since last year, that Mitt is inevitable. He ain’t, not if the voters have anything to say about it.

Well said but your clear and correct logic will fall on deaf ears in this den of groupthink, groupthink and lemmings running over the cliff.

But I intend to do exactly as you are saying.

I think we have the potential to influence what Romney does.

And WHO is going to do that?..."We've" watched Obama all but destroy the Constitution...and our guys do no more than lip service. How the heck are they going to hold Romneys feet to the fire when Romney's strings are pulled by unelected people and those no less of his choosing?

Nah, I think not...no one will hold Romney accountable....and actually pull it off.....I have no reason to believe that's possible. They'll simply believe they have one of their own on their side and sit back and go to sleep yet again!
