Please accept this as a serious question from a LONG time member and supporter of Free Republic.
Has it ever been explained why it takes almost $400,000 a year to run this website?
I run much larger ones for much less, perhaps you need to do some bandwidth or webmaster shopping, because you may be being taken advantage of, and everyone has too much respect for you to want that to happen. I am sure I am not the only one who would be interested in knowing.
Our budget is posted on the donation link and has been for years.
I congratulate you for running multiple sites as busy as FR for much less. Please post the URLs and your budgets on each so I can see where I’m going wrong.
