It depends on the nominee. If it's Romney, are you serious? I will never "support" Romney. Much less vote for him!
Ann is different than most women. In a way this is true because of the family’s wealth, but I’d bet that Hilary Rosen is even more different than most women. Aside from the fact that she doesn’t have money worries, Ann is living a normal family-centered life. Hilary is a gay adoptive mother who is a major opinion-molder for the left. How conventional, and how similar to most women’s lives, is that?
I am personally out of touch with mothers with six kids; 4 surnames among them.
I am personally out of touch with loud mouthed lesbians gaming the system for state support
I am personally out of touch with illegal aliens living off the state teat and sending my money back home
We’re all out of touch with some demographic. It’s not to Ann Romney’s discredit that some folks can’t identify with a heroic mother of five who has handled cancer and MS but somehow didn’t get a “real” job.
Actually she does. I know a few people who know her and say she is a good, down-to-earth person. They go to the same place to get their hair cut, the same grocery store, etc.
She'd have very few friends if she only associated with people who were at her financial level. (I'm making the distinction between income and wealth.) There just aren't that many billionaires around.
“What does a North Korean missile launch and Hilary Roesen’s career have in common?”
Both got shot down?
PS. I just scanned your posting history. You haven't posted in a month, but you emerged from lurk mode to post this to me. I am curious as to why.
I agree. Even axelrod stepped in it to spin that DNC's Rosen is CNN's employee (I know, same thing).
Leave it to Time to hear crazy, and double down.
Whatever. Her husband is still a socialist trying to lie and buy his way into the White House.
What about Palin? She must spend $10 per day on make-up, not to mention how much she spends on human growth hormone.
From Rosen’s apology:
“In response to Mitt Romney on the campaign trail referring to his wife as a better person to answer questions about women than he is, I was discussing his lack of a record on the plight of womens financial struggles. “
She even insulted Romney’s husband in her non apology apology. Right on message, with message reinforced.
That is how the game is played.
If the President’s poll numbers with women do not now drop, you will know that there was no downside for this remark, and Romney is tarred with being out of touch with women.
People stop and stare for hours as I do my routine.
Only 1/2 of the primaries have happened.
Including Greta. She said on her show last night that Rosen is her "good friend". Greta showed her true rat colors last night as she was spinning in defense of her friend.
Just like to note the Kennedys have managed to breed their way back into the class of dopers and criminals. That’s in the old American “shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations’ tradition.
Those synthetic persons are becoming more realistic looking with every new model!
The Left is welcome to just keep on talking about this. Romney and others only need to make sure that Rosen equals Obama. Of course I’m talking about the Stupid Party actually pressing an advantage, so I’m dreaming. This should be two weeks worth of gaffe for the Obama reelection team to deal with.
So now we have a liberal Democrat in the news media telling us Rosen is right. So what else is new?
Rosen’s statement was part of the Democrat’s campaign to paint the Romney’s as out-of-touch. That’s ironic, since nobody can be more out-of-touch with the country than Barack Obama.
