Only a few days ago, all of us Newt supporters were traitors for not backing Santorum and thereby vicariously supporting Romney. Now that Rick is out, why isn’t their a sea change of support for Newt? I don’t #ing get it. Everyone’s bitching about Romney, but hardly anyone is raising the call for unity behind Newt. The #ing petulance is unreal.

IMO, Santorum supporters had mush for brains - and are NOT conservative. Santorum supported Mitt in '08, so what would you expect of his supporters. Same mindset - 'bottom of the class' type. Unable to think on their own - just like mitt who will NEED to surround himself to tell him what to think/do.

When Perry dropped out, some of his supporters switched rapidly, some, the more dedicated, switched slowly. Ditto with avowed Cain supporters.
The Santorum supporters on here are a passionate bunch about their candidate, and their guy has only been out for a couple of days. Give them time to mourn.
You took the words out of my mouth. Shifting to the grown up, over Romney, is the no-brainer and the only choice of conscience for pro-lifers and constitutionalists.
The above facts need desperately to be expanded on, but regardless today America voters have to be drug over any line kicking and screaming because they want simple things that will come easily.
A fight for delegates “is just too hard”, because the media has said, convincingly, that it’s over when it’s but half over.
