If you read the article HERE you find a lot of good information. Maps are displayed along with time lines that describe the encounter between Martin and Zimmerman. This is the most detailed account I have seen yet.
A week or two ago another thread asked why no footage had been shown with Trayvon getting his Skittles at the 7-Eleven. I speculated that they didn't want the public to know that this "poor little boy" was actually much bigger than Zimmerman, and no longer a little boy. But there may be another reason; he was never there.
According to the account Zimmerman first saw Martin near the clubhouse; to the west of the altercation and also to the west of where Martin was staying. Now that I had access to maps I did a search. As near as I can tell, the closest 7-Eleven is over 2 miles away - to the east. - 2700 West 25th Street, Sanford, FL.
The linked article also suggests that Martin doubled back specifically to confront Zimmerman. I continue to wonder if the reason Zimmerman thought he was acting suspiciously was because Martin was acting suspiciously. There are reports that women's jewelry and a flat screwdriver were found in Martin's backpack at school, but it was not acted on.
What if Trayvon was roving the neighborhood looking for "opportunity" and saw Zimmerman watching him? Do you suppose that maybe the Skittles toting the little boy who punched the bus driver may have wanted a piece of Zimmerman for trying to stop him?
Not been a major problem for me. :)
Thanks for the link

Would these “gated” communes have surv. cams?
Thank you. Good info.
An "easy out" as we say around the ballpark.
That’s what I thought. At first Martin’s defenders were saying he was in the community because of a relative or then a friend, now I hear nothing about that. Almost like he belonged there normally.
I wonder if he took the opportunity of being let into a gated community to scope it out. The detractors like to point out that GZ was a “watch captain” and imply there was no need - it’s gated! Well we know from previous police reports that area was burglarized many times.
We know GZ followed him, against the advice of the 911 operator (not a crime you left wing nuts) and I think, from the call, quit and turned around and that’s when TM might have attacked him. Maybe he thought GZ was another gang banger after him or something.
Crime in these areas is so rampant who can find motive?
Silly you...they were just community organizers making you aware of thier plight using street theater.
What are you, racist? /sarc
From what I've read, she didn't speak to the cops until after Angela Corey took over the case. Supposedly, the cops couldn't be trusted (except for Holder's cops, obviously).
“Even though investigators have the dead boys cell phone, it was Trayvons father who combed through the phone records to discover that his son was talking to a girlfriend in the moments that led up to his death.”

Wrong store!
Go to the 7-Eleven store locator and input "2631 Retreat View Circle, 32771". It will cough up "7-ELEVEN #34198 1125 RINEHART RD, SANFORD,FL 32771 (407) 323-9905"
This joint is a low-end gated community. The back entrance actually has a gate. The front entrance (leading to the 7-Eleven) does not. There is a wall around the periphery. It was constructed quite recently. Most of the occupants appear to be transient renters.

Z was going to Target. I wonder where Target store is located, would Z have gone same route?
That's exactly what Bitch Corey needs to prove, if she is to come out of this as anything other than what she is.
Good catch!
It appears Zimmerman's route would have paralleled Martin's for a lot of the way.

A whole lot of physical changes occur during high school and in Trayvon’s case he started to become a disciplinary problem. One thing is for sure, it wasn’t that cute 12 year old in his football uniform who attacked Mr. Zimmerman. That’s what riles me. Let’s show a pic of Zimmerman when he was 12 just to be fair.
From your link:
I have never seen such an incompetent investigation, said Walt Zalisko, a former **Jersey City police commander** who now owns a police management consulting company in Central Florida. There are so many problems with this case. The problem up here is that officers receive very little training, and there is very little understanding of **diversity issues**.
The good ol boy network is so prevalent here.

OK some X-Jersey policeman thinks they are poor policemen because they have had little “diversity training”.
Give me a break.
Oh how interesting! Thanks for the link. Yes, must say "gated community" takes on a whole different interpretation after what you wrote.
Thanks, visualaops, guess I missed that part plus now I read the term "gated community" has taken on a whole new meaning from what I always thought it meant.
Thanks SL, I was going to start with a disclaimer when I asked the question, but didn’t in order to save space-—should have. No, I obviously didn’t “pay attention” and didn’t realize he was staying with his father or wouldn’t have asked the question.
