Glenn Beck has been in Texas only a few months, and he's already talking big.
Now, he wants to address America from his own Oval Office.
Lest anyone fear that something has suddenly gone drastically wrong in our country, Beck's Oval Office is a movie set in Irving.

Saying he will "deliver the speeches the president should have delivered," Beck promised to "activate the sleeping giant" of Christian conservatives in America with speeches from his new set on the Studios' Stage A.
Mainly, of course, Beck's goal is to motivate subscribers to pay $9.95 a month for his show, broadcast daily to about 300,000 viewers via computer, iPad, iPhone or other household appliance.

Beck said he hopes to hire 1,000 workers in Irving for an entrepreneurial project.
It's named American Dream Labs.
He's right about the dream part

Calling someone else’s religion a “false religion” and the attacking them smells a little like bigotry to me. In fact, so does the implication that there is but one true faith.
Who's to say yours isn't false? Oh that's right. God. I forgot, you've got the direct pipeline.
Thats funny. The only time Ive ever heard that kind of stuff is from left wingers.
You should branch out and read some threads other than the Mormon hating threads. You'll eventually see plenty of right wingers that find your approach and also the approach of those whom are like minded to be bigoted. Hopefully that straightens it out for ya. :-)
If Romney is the nominee, Rush will no doubt vote for him, as will Sarah, Newt, Rick, and virtually every other well-known conservative in this country. I bet that includes Thomas Sowell.
That magic underwear will mess you up.
Oh, good grief. Beck has always been for Romney, there is a 98%
probability. Beck is not part of the 2%, lds who don’t.
“white horse” - nuff said!
I have no reason to doubt that. I'm sure they all voted for McCain as well.
You’re evil and going to Hell in at least one other religion.
That's a saying. Not something directed at you. I forgot the quotes.
I'm glad to hear you say so, because that is exactly what mormonism did at its inception and since. Practically every so-called "prophet" has stood at the pulpit and denounced Christianity. It's only been recently that they have softened their tone and rhetoric, but they still send out 52,000+ missionaries throughout the world to spread this "gospel".
Thus, the reason why Christians fight back against mormonism.
Whores of Babylon, church of the devil, spawns of satan, etc.
Tell us, should we not engage in self-defense of our faith when it is being co-opted, perverted and denigrated?
OOOOOooooo...I am SOOOOO surprised!!
“Calling someone elses religion a false religion and the attacking them smells a little like bigotry to me. In fact, so does the implication that there is but one true faith.”
The Apostle Paul attacked heresy. The Apostle Peter attacked heresy. The Savior, Jesus Christ attacked false religion. Were they bigots?
If there isn’t ONE TRUE FAITH, then Christ died for no reason at all. Does that make Him a bigot too??
I'm so in maybe I should convert and become a bishop. :-)
Friend, it's with sadness that I say you don't have a clue what you're talking about. I really am sorry for you.
Okay, granted I don't listen to Beck, so you might be right. A review of articles does indicate he was supporting Santorum, although some such as a poster on this thread questions whether it was authentic. But I've read many times here on FR of Beck's support for Romney.
Here are some for example:
Nobody is perfect........ except..
You know.. Willard Romney..
LOL. Oh, yes, you sure told me.
I read all kinds of threads, thanks. And that has nothing to do with the fact that any doctrine which contradicts the word of God is, by definition, false. Now, coming from where you are, I don’t expect you to understand. That’s OK.
May I ask, though-—are you a Mormon?
You wish. Beck was all for Romney and used Santo as cover.
At 10 buck a pop and no hidden charges, for the Dallas Cowboys stadium, yep that will fill those coffers for sure.
Hate is a terrible thing to waste.
It all boils down to that, doesn't it? The Romney supporters can excuse themselves in fifty different ways, but they should wonder if their excuses will impress God on judgment day.
If you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about, then why on earth would you feel sorry for me?
