Glenn Beck has been in Texas only a few months, and he's already talking big.
Now, he wants to address America from his own Oval Office.
Lest anyone fear that something has suddenly gone drastically wrong in our country, Beck's Oval Office is a movie set in Irving.

Saying he will "deliver the speeches the president should have delivered," Beck promised to "activate the sleeping giant" of Christian conservatives in America with speeches from his new set on the Studios' Stage A.
Mainly, of course, Beck's goal is to motivate subscribers to pay $9.95 a month for his show, broadcast daily to about 300,000 viewers via computer, iPad, iPhone or other household appliance.

Beck said he hopes to hire 1,000 workers in Irving for an entrepreneurial project.
It's named American Dream Labs.
He's right about the dream part

IMO, his "promise to "activate the sleeping giant" of Christian conservatives" is just another sign of his alcoholic grandiosity.
Your influence on Christians is highly inflated in your own mind, Glenn.

delusions of adaquacy
The writer of this article or Beck?
Beck is wrong more than Dick Morris and that’s saying something.
Going? Mormon Beck’s been all in for Mormon Mitt since the beginning.
There's no way Beck has that many subscribers.
He may motivate mormons but not Christians.
Beck is more delusional by the day.
He has always been a Romneybot, just was hiding it until the right time.
I am waiting for the “hanging by a thread” and “white horse” references to complete the delusion.
Show me a single post where anyone on FR has disparaged Beck for making money.
Try and keep up - Beck’s Romneybotism and delusional state is finally showing its ugly head, that is what the thread is about.
What????!!!!! Mark is out and Ben Ferguson is on before Rush in Dallas?? Ben is local here in Memphis and he gets on my freakin nerves! I love listening to Mark when I’m working in S.E. Oklahoma although the station is kinda week trying to pull it in from Dallas.
I'd say your influence around here to keep Romney from getting the nomination was highly inflated. lol. (btw, I voted for Gingrich)
Have you even listened to his show?
In fact, just yesterday, he was saying he has NOT always been for Romney and the ONLY reason he IS for Romney now, is because he DOES NOT WANT Obama to get re-elected. They were making fun of Romney, and created the tshirt (as I posted in an earlier post) that “at least he’s not a commie”.
Granted, I don’t agree with him and am not sure myself who I’m going to vote for, especially if it’s Romney.
Try listening to his show sometime, and you’ll see, the whole “bot for Romney thing, is BS.
Oh, and by the way, if you did bother listening to his show, you’d know he was actually a Santorum bot.
Ferguson is such a RINO squish. About as smart as Hannity IMO. I still miss Mike Fleming myself.
As a GBTV subscriber, when I first heard what he was going to do, my first thoughts were Beck, now you lost it. And I was not alone. Beck said he had a ton of comments on his web page saying the same. But after watching him yesterday I didnt see anything wrong with what he said and how he delivered it. It was Great Words, that should be said. If Rush or Mark Levin, would have said the same monolog on their shows, these same Beck bashers would be saying, right on Rush, you tell em.
As far as his support for Romney, as a long time listener of his, he is a big Santorum supporter that is very reluctantly shifting his support for the only one left in the race.
