You are likely the exception to the rule...but then most freepers do tend to trend that way. Overcomers and with great faith to do so.

I have no problem with woman remaining in the home and not working...in fact I wish more would sacrifice so they could do so...but the mindset today is so focused on material wealth that most will not make those necessary changes.

I remember a time I lived on a part-time job for ten dollars an hour....paid all my expenses, and went without many basics I found options for. I certainly struggled hard to make it work..but I never once missed a payment on anything....but I went without EVERYTHING else for enjoyment. My “pleasure” was every two weeks I bought a pk. of dollar minuture candy bars as a “treat” for working so hard to make it work. You can imagine the pleasure that was!

So if I can pay rent, all utilites and bills on a part time job there’s really no reason a family can’t have the wife stay at home...and perhaps work from there. It can be done...but you will assuredly go without many things otherwise.

If anyone gives you slack about remaining in the home...and ask you what you do...Just tell them:

I’m responsible for love, joy and peace in my home... and I’m raising future citizens of the United States’....then ask them what they do. They will stuggle for words to top that.

OK, I hear you, let’s agree that we are raising the future of our country. My son was furious when heard about our national debt and realized he was going to have to pay for it. He has informed me that he was a libertarian the other day. quote “the government sucks” LOL, is this his mama’s influence?
