Don't take this as endorsing Romney — I've already made clear I am not — but everybody on Free Republic needs to understand that this is a real concern.

Newt Gingrich is a techie. He does understand what is at stake with internet regulation, transferring the rules of broadcast media via frequency licensing (probably a legitimate necessity) over to the internet, rather than following a print journalism model of no regulation of the content of the public press apart from a libel lawsuit for actual falsehood being printed.

That's a big deal and those who don't follow the developing issues of internet law need to pay close attention to it.

I sit her aghast that we are expounding on “ain’t it awful”, and NOT mounting a challenge to Romney with the one conservative left standing—Newt!

His enemies have always been ours, they despise HIM and they despise US. Get the picture?

Look where the GOP-E and COMMUNIST firepower has been aimed from the get-go.

THAT man is standing there waiting to lead as soon as we are through ringing our hands!

WE HAVE BETWEEN NOW AND 1144 TO REBEL IN SPADES!

So, what’s it going to be? Endless chatter of Romney, or go Galt with NEWT.

NEWT IS GALT. And, always has been.
