I can respect that, Theophilus.

I'm not prepared to give up on the Republican Party. The Constitution Party is the best of the major “third parties” out there and probably the only viable option for conservative Christians who believe the Republican Party is no longer an option. The Libertarians and the Greens are not choices that are realistic for frustrated pro-life Republicans, but I would not be surprised to see a number of Ron Paul people end up in the Libertarian Party, which is where they probably should have started anyway.

The problem is a vote for the Constitution Party in 2012 is probably a vote that will help re-elect Obama. For people who live in a state where the Republicans have no chance this fall or where the Republicans will win by a large margin, voting for the Constitution Party may make sense.

I can't say that in close states, especially not before the nominee has been decided. But for those who can't in good conscience vote Republican, that's probably the only other choice.

I think it is just as true that a vote for Romney anywhere/anytime is a vote that will help re-elect Obama. Unless God has a surprise in store for us, Pharaoh will continue to be raised up.

It's an interesting sensation to hear the empty campaign news knowing it's utterly irrelevant.
