How does a prosecutor “challenge” a law?
Good question. My guess is that Zimmerman will invoke the SYG law and the prosecutor will try and have it thrown out or say it doesn’t apply in this case because Zimmerman allegedly murdered Martin. If that happens then the 2nd Amendment groups will need to assist Martin in keeping that from happening.
That could be run up to the FL state supreme court and then all the way to the SCOTUS.
