It might be prudent to also carry a knife or sharpened screwdriver that doesn't match anything in your home/garage.

It really disgusts me to even say that, but after witnessing what the FL PROCS just did..........

Actually, the best thing to use in some situations is a ‘drop gun’.

Typically, this is a firearm that is not traceable to you. When used with gloves you simply drop it at the scene of the event and walk away.
