Then you will be supporting a two branch system of govt. instead of the three that the Founders set up. Absolutely not true. The SCOTUS job is to interpret the Constitution and not to expand or rewrite it. They have declared it a "living document", meaning they can change it, and they have used international law to "interpret" it. They also misused a letter by Jefferson to reverse the meaning of the 1st Amendment. "Separation of church and state" is NOT in the Constitution anywhere. Gingrich proposes to make them do their JOB instead of legislating from the bench.

Thank you!
What's wrong with you, chessplayer? Stick to checkers, the MSM and lying mitt beat you at their propaganda game with that comment. Newt couldn't have been more clear with his intentions of to make them do their JOB instead of legislating from the bench.
Thank you, NEWT!

Wrong. He said as President HE will be the final word of what is Constitutional or not, not the SC. He has said that as President, he would have the authority to ignore any SC ruling he didn’t like. He has said Congress could abolish certain courts altogether. He has said if federal judges make a ruling he doesn’t like, said judges should be hauled into Congress to explain themselves, and if they don’t appear, they should be arrested. Yes, indeed, Gingrich would do away with the Founding Fathers system of govt.
