1. Implemented/created Gay Marriage in MA
2. Supported and forced Gay Adoption in MA
3. Supported Abortion wholeheartedly
4. Raised taxes/fees over 300% while being Governor of MA
5. Implemented a state-level Cap and Trade system.
6. Supported Man-Made Global Warming
7. Supported the Brady Bill
8. Implemented a state level “Assault” Weapons Bill after the Federal AWB was allowed to expire
9. Supported TARP
10. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (Citizenship for those already here)
11. Supported McCain-Kennedy(Amenesty)
12. Implemented a socialized medicine in MA called RomneyCare complete with an Individual Mandate and $50 abortions
13. Nominated 27 Democrats (out of 36 nominations) for judgeships in MA, many of them extreme left-wingers
They're doing that with Ann Marie Buerkle in CNY as well, by redistricting to include Ithaca in her district.
She is one AWESOME rep. I haven't found a thing that she's taken a position on that I disagree with yet. Conservative as they come.

Bitch about the Vichy GOP all you like but they can count and they counted which folks would come out in the primaries to vote or to work for their candidate.
So, they knew it was the right time to put Bishop Romney at the top of the ticket. Only with King Barry as his opponent does he have even a shadow of a chance at winning and it was "his turn". If the number of people getting involved and working had reflected a change in who was going to decide the primaries, they'd have at least been more neutral. The Vichy are corrupt Nazi loving bastards, but they're not stupid and the more than they want Bishop Romney or anything else, they want enough control to get their share of the graft and extortion payments.
If there had been much difference in who was showing up to help in primaries, there would have been just as much difference in the way the Vichy went about promoting or not promoting Bishop Romney.
HELL NO. Pictures are worth 1,000 words. Just because that shot of Newt (and did you watch the video clips?) doesn't jive with your fantasy, it doesn't mean it can simply be dismissed. There is a peculiarly widespread case of political amnesia with regard to old Newt 'round here. In many ways he's just as bad as mittens. Amnesty, for instance.
That's why I couldn't get to the point of caring that he's Mormon. Before you even get to the point of looking at what he says he believes his own record shouts him down.
He's not pro-life which IMHO, means he starts with two strikes already and gets the third strike if there's any alternative that is pro-life. On top of that, his record looks exactly like the record of a dozen democrat fascists who brag about their record every election cycle to get democrat votes. The same is true for Lawyer Ricky, though, and look at the nitwits who championed him just because he can talk the talk even though he's never walked the walk.

So what if the GOP officially changed their platform to say they are pro-choice, support legalizing homosexual marriage, and are for higher tax rates on millionaires? Would you still support and vote for GOP-endorsed candidates? Or would you tell them they no longer have your vote until they change to a conservative platform? This is where we separate the cowards who will compromise their principles for “security” and those who are willing to go down fighting for what’s right. Romney is taking the GOP solidly in that direction if not further left. If he is successful, that will only embolden the people who want to liberalize the party.

Jackie Gingrich Cushman: About Newt’s ‘deathbed divorce’
For years, I have thought about trying to correct the untrue accounts of this hospital visit. After all, I was at the hospital with them, and saw and heard what happened. But I have always hesitated, as it was a private family matter and my mother is a very private person. In addition, for the four people involved, it was one of a million interactions and was not considered a defining event by any of us.
So, to correct the record, here is what happened: My mother, Jackie Battley Gingrich, is very much alive, and often spends time with my family. I am lucky to have such a “Miracle Mom,” as I titled her in a column this week.
My mother and father were already in the process of getting a divorce, which she requested.
Dad took my sister and me to the hospital to see our mother.
She had undergone surgery the day before to remove a tumor.
The tumor was benign.
Oh, come on, Newt and his wife’s own children and the facts can’t possibly compete with what the lamestream media and Newt’s political opponents have said. They obviously know more about the facts of what goes on in Newt’s personal life than his own family. Besides we all have a right to spread gossip about the most private of matters within someone’s family and judge them on it.
