Why do I have a feeling that the circus is just beginning.. As soon as the smiling “DA” said “Justice for Trayvon” I knew they caved..
This is just the first act..

I fail to see how either following (as some on FR claim) Martin, or even getting out of his vehicle to get a street address (as others have said) for the responding officers qualifies as imminently dangerous or evincing a depraved mind in this case. The "imminently dangerous" act was shooting Martin.

My God in heaven, listening to this woman speaking (Levins show carrying it) is more torture than listening to Comrade Zero himself.Watched the press conference. She reminds me of Nancy Pelosi (without the nips and tucks).

Definitely a smarmy politically correct beginning. Barf. The first thing Zimmerman's legal team should do is to have her disqualified from the prosecution's team for her statements.
Yep, in the world we used to live in, you can't come out dancing and singing Hooray, Hooray, we got him! Now, let's kill him! Hooray everyone!! Yippy!
She should be put off the case. She should recuse due to her own, obvious, deep and personal feelings in the case. Go have dinner with ‘our victim's’ family. See how long that lasts once they are done with you.
Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do.

Here’s a thought that just crossed my mind.
Maybe, just maybe, she knows this charge won’t fly and doesn’t want to be around to prosecute it. Could it be she’s throwing bait to the defense, basically giving them a reason to ask she recuse herself and a “special prosecutor” be appointed while she maintains her current post?

No way can they prove all of the elements of 2nd Degree Murder Beyond a Reasonable Doubt now and the Prosecutor knows it.
Yup...she deliberately over charged Zimmerman, knowing she won't get a conviction, but in the process being able to mollify the masses saying 'We tried him'. Totally political.

She is not running again per her own comments a few months ago.
Unless something comes out at trail not now known publicly, she has zero chance of getting a conviction on M2nd in any courtroom in the US. Perhaps this is a ploy to try to get him to plead to something less, negligent homocide perhaps.
Allegedly his dad was a magistrate so he should have some idea of how to guide him till they find a decent attorney for him.

First they came for the Zimmermans, but I didn't speak out...
To: Arthurio
I have a real hard time seeing 2nd Degree murder here (under depraved heart or intent to kill). Unless there's more that we don't know about, I can't see that.
My gut tells me this is an old fashion case of charge big, and convict or plea to the lesser charge (manslaughter).

Not to sound smarmy or sarcastic, but is that a legal interpretation or an opinion?
IANAL, but as evidenced on the many threads on this subject, folks like to speculate a lot and I’m not into that.
Thanks in advance.
