"...plea bargain." Good guess - that would absolutely explain the lawyers' presser yesterday: they want all possible future clients to know that they weren't consulted.

The lawyers undoubtedly knew this was coming and informed him of that fact over the weekend. He may be running or not planning to be incarcerated I have a bad feeling about this..
