“People were upset with me months ago when I stated how the people of Pennsylvania disliked Santorum and how he would not win his home state. Little did I know that confronting a loss there would lead to his demise.”

What does this thread have to do with Santorum? This was a weak field of candidates from the beginning. I was hoping for Palin, then backed Cain, then by the time Cain dropped out Santorum was the only viable anti-Romney. However, Santorum certainly has his flaws, and made several missteps over the last few weeks that doomed his already weak candidacy. It didn’t help that (as the article points out) he was outspent at least 4-1 in every state where he competed with Plastic Mitt. Still he won several states.

Romney is a poor candidate, the antithesis of the Tea Party spirit that prevailed in the 2010 election, and pretty much the worst possible choice to try and beat 0bama in 2012. This article is spot on.

I hear your pain from your candidate losing. Actually, I totally agree with you, Santorum was the best of the worst. I just knew how the Republican Party in Pennsylvania did not like him when he was Senator and did not support him when he lost his PA senate seat. I knew this problem was coming and would be an embarrassment for Santorum in the PA primary.

Right now, our choices are Obama or the Obama clone. The same big money power people who work the puppet strings are holding them for both O’Bummer and O’Romney!
